Pull into the Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in the heart of the Bluegrass State, and you'll begin to understand the soothing lyrics of My Old Kentucky Home. Rest easy in this quiet wooded setting while the kids burn energy in the pool, playground and pet-walk area playing with the dog.
We offer pull thru/back in sites with 50/30 and 30 amp service as well as cable at most sites. A swimming pool, cabins( with heat/ac, cable), and LP gas. Heated clean bathrooms and showers and a limited grocery store including basic RV supplies. We have added central air to the showers and laundry. We recently added WIRELESS INTERNET for campers who want to check their e-mail or find information on local restaurants and attractions such as the Coca-Cola Museum, Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace, Mammoth Cave National Park, Fort Knox-Patton Museum or many other Elizabethtown area sights. --Don't forget to visit Freeman Lake during the Christmas season to see the Christmas lights and listen to holiday music during the 1 &1/2 mile drive.
We are only 40 minutes from Louisville so make your plans to stay at our campground and visit the Louisville attractions such as The Kentucky Derby, Thunder over Louisville ( the largest fireworks display in the country!) Freedom Hall, the Louisville Expo/Convention Center, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Kentucky State Fair, the Louisville Slugger Bat Museum, and much more!
